I’ve been working on something near and dear to my heart and I finally went public with it! I have officially launched my newly designed and rebranded website!
And much like any listing (or pretty much anything) I touch, I know that first impressions are everything. My intention was to create a thoughtfully designed website that told a visually compelling story about what I do without too much fuss (i.e. no rabbit holes). So, I thought it would be interesting to share my process and the team as it relates to how I treat any listing I am working on.
I knew from the beginning that a beautiful website template was worthless without beautiful and well-organized content. None of this happened in a box and or singularly, and so I want to give a big huge shout out to the team who helped me create this truly remarkable website!
Every great website needs gorgeous photos, and I worked with a couple of truly talented photographers including Thomas Kuoh for my lifestyle photography and Molly Rose, who specializes in interior design photography with an editorial style for my listings, as well as a rebranded suite of logos.
I looked long and hard for a really great videographer whose style resonated with me, but it’s a challenge when there are so many options. I ended up going back to my wedding videographer, whom I already knew executed beautifully. I asked them to help me tell my story in a compelling way that also felt inspirational. I have to say, Amor in Motion did not disappoint.
I read Peter Guber’s book, "Tell to Win" a couple of years ago, and it left a lasting impression about the importance of storytelling. I quickly realized that storytelling doesn’t just start and end with a story, script or copy. No, a well-told story is an all-encompassing experience from gorgeous photography and a clean logo to a telling tagline, emotional video and strong content. Simplicity breeds complexity (one of my many takeaways from architecture school), and the most beautiful websites are both simple and beautiful with no rabbit holes. This was the task I put to Katie Quesada, and she helped me put it all together in one simply exquisite website tailor-made for me!
And of course, none of this comes together without my amazing sphere of clients, friends, family and everyone who has referred me business! Without all of you, I have none of this magnificent content! And so to all of you, thank you! Really, I couldn’t have done it without you! Keep it coming!
