I Made the News!
A couple of years ago, I casually mentioned to my husband, Matt, that a client of mine wasn’t going to submit an offer on a home because it had knob and tube wiring — and we didn’t think he’d be able to get insurance. A few days later, that same client was in contract after lining up an electrician and finding coverage. Three weeks later, Matt had secured knobandtubereplacement.com, and a business idea was sparked over dinner and a glass of wine.
Fast forward two years… and we were just featured on ABC7 News! Yep — that’s us in the 8-minute segment, talking about insurance, real estate, and the business Matt built from the ground up after that one conversation. Honestly, it’s a little surreal and super exciting to see something we built together getting this kind of spotlight.
As a realtor, I’m always working behind the scenes to help clients navigate the ins and outs of buying and selling — but being in front of the camera, sharing this journey with Matt, felt pretty special. It's a proud moment for us both — and such a cool example of what can happen when you mix a little curiosity, a lot of hustle, and a passion for helping people.
